About
Marc Bell is a Canadian cartoonist and artist born in London, Ontario, in 1971. His work is closely associated with the Canadian underground and alternative comics scene, where his comics have appeared in weeklies such as the London Free Press, as well as in Vice and LA Weekly. Bell is also linked to the small-press comics world and to Drawn & Quarterly, and he has long moved between comics, illustration, and gallery-based art. Based in Montreal, he has built a practice that sits between independent cartooning and contemporary art.
