Igor Maloratsky was born in St.Petersburg, Russia. He was interested in visual arts from a young age. He first started taking photos in college and soon after he moved to Moscow where he became an art dealer and a gallery owner. In 1991 Igor moved to New York and fell in love with the city. He shoots in both black and white - which stresses simplicity and beauty of the images, and color - which is warm and deeply moving. His beautiful NYC photographs can be found in art galleries, museum shops, and other fine art stores throughout the city.
